The file server (back-end)

The one used by Helene:

• is home-made, free and open-source
• integrates several converters, e.g. from the DAISY pipeline
• uses encryption tools to produce e.g. encrypted PDF files
• will use a DAISY book encryption program

Ongoing research to determine whether another tool could be used. Candidates:
