The German Central Library for the Blind (www.dzb.de) cordially invited all interested people and users, developers, and experts of the multifunctional information medium DAISY (Digital Accessible Information System) to an event week in the book and media city of Leipzig, from 21st to 27th September 2009, - to bring all of them into conversation and to advance the exchange of experience.

There are a few left copies of the DAISY2009 proceedings available. These contain the following contents: Papers of the lectures of the both conferences "Barrier-free Preparation of documents" (German-language) and "DAISY International Technical Conference" (English-language). It is in common print. If requested, we can send the dates also as an RTF document, burned on a CD.
The price per copy is 30 €. Please contact the conference management in case of interest.

Thanks to everybody who has made DAISY2009 a successful event. Here, at DZB Leipzig, the arrangements for the documentation of the conferences have already startet: in mid October, all presentations will be available on our website.
